# Runbook

## Daily checks

## Common problems

**A service restarts in a loop.** Check its logs first; usually a missing env
var or a volume permission issue.

**Port already in use.** Change the host side of the mapping in
`docker-compose.yml` and update `.env`.

**Database connection refused.** For Umami, the bundled Postgres takes a few
seconds to become ready. Wait and retry.

**Out of memory.** Supabase, Appwrite and Saleor are the heavy ones. Give the
host 8 GB+ if you run more than two of them.

## Backup

State lives in named volumes:

Stop the service before backing up so the volume is not mid-write.

## Upgrading

Tags default to `latest`. Pin them in `.env` for reproducible deploys, then
`docker compose pull && docker compose up -d`. Read upstream release notes
before a major bump.
